When you share your TTRPG University affiliate link(s), you must make it clear that you will earn a commission if they buy through your link. This is legally required.
You’re likely to share your link via a website, forum, or social media. When you do, you legally must disclose that it’s an affiliate link or that you make money on commissions through the link.
Most social media is simple enough to share your disclosure. Twitter, however, makes this difficult with strict character counts. Many affiliates on Twitter favor hashtags like #affiliate or #affiliatelink to offer disclosure. Keep in mind that the FTC says those hashtags may not be clear enough and believe you’d be better off using #ad. We leave it up to your discretion.
“I earn a commission on purchases through this link at no extra cost to you. Thanks for the support!”

“When you make purchases through links on our site, we may earn an affiliate commission at no additional cost to you. We only recommend products we trust.”
